(On the Boxster S 981) Anyone tried the PCM recalling the previous destinations, mine shows a button and when you press it , it recalls the address but nothing showing on the button, tried factory reset but no good, looks very like a firmware bug? Anyone else seen this.

I thought I would call 3 Porsche dealers including teh big one and discovered this which may be of help

1) If you set desitnations by post code it wont show in the previous destination buttons (they will be blank, but if you press one it does have the function, you just cant tell which one it is)
2) If you set a destination by street, town, it will show in previous destinations buttons as expected

Therfore cr*p Porsche software a £60 sat nav or my Samsung s3 will do it right, I adore my Boxster but really do feel they should get the PCM right its a dam expensive option, not something I expect from the Germans!

BTW, I actually checked this today with the dealer on the phone while he was in a demo car so I know its not unique, There is no update as yet, mine is the latest, teh cars only 3 weeks old.

Make you wonder if I should have saved myself £2k+, wonder if the 991 is the same.

Ive not seen that issue on my 981 but I have found another small Bug which means that if you set you time to AM/PM any journey from 12 midday to midnight it shows as am. in 24hr mode all ok
