Hey guys,

New to the forum! Looking to get an exhaust mod for my Boxster S in the South East. Can anyone recommend anywhere to get this done?

Many thanks,

Charlie

A great looking car đź‘Ś

Hayward and Scott might be worth a look, based in Basildon.

Whatever you do don't buy the SS sports exhaust from Rose Passion because it will make your ears bleed with the drone in the cabin, Mine lasted one day and I took it off and put the stock back on - ahhh so much better.

I would also check that white smoke in your pic is just condensation and not a faulty air oil separator.

Cheers

Paul

On another post recently, I've mentioned the Cargraphic exhaust valve conversion, which I'm considering for my next car (718 GTS 4.0) and Scuderia in Egham, Surrey, is one of their main UK dealers. If you happened to have the PSE fitted, it may be worth looking at as they offer a controller for the 987 too. However, I don't know how much impact noise regs had on that engine relative to the 718 (which is strangled by them over over a wide rev range, even in Sports mode), so it may not prove to be worthwhile, but I see on their website that Scuderia have a pretty comprehensive range of other Cargraphic exhaust options for the 987 too.

And if you are prepared to look a bit further afield (it's not too far away via the Chunnel and makes for a nice trip) I can recommend visiting Carnewal in Belgium, where I took my 987 Boxster S some years ago to fit the 'Carnewal GT Exhaust'. I gather that you can also arrange for an exhaust to be sent to you or to ship yours over for conversion and return in a day or two. We decided to take the short diversion home after a club trip in Northern France to stay in Gert's guest house flat overnight (based in a lovely part of the Ardennes) whilst he did an exchange for my stock exhaust, using another he'd already fettled internally. It resulted in a much deeper roar and I loved it, especially in tunnels! It looks exactly as normal from the outside and had no effect on warning lights, etc, but please note that it is an 'always on' conversion, so you can't select a quiet mode. As it happens, it also resulted in a small uplift in power - I think mine was around 5 bhp. There are videos on the Carnewal website (easily found on Google) and You Tube to show the results of the conversion.
