Boxster S in Car Magazine

Hurry down to Smiths and get yourself a copy!!

It's the Dec issue (Perf Car of the Year on the front) - they test a Speed Yellow S for 4 days accross Europe and conclude that it is an emphatically better car, though curiously not the same degree of advance over the previous one as the 997 is over the 996. It's a much more emotional article than the Autocar virtual brochure reprint - though they too criticise the 19" combo for ruining the ride and handling. It has pretty much convinced me to cancel the used 996 plan and put a deposit down for an "S" for summer.

Interestingly, the 997 S beats the 996 GT3-RS in the PCOTY shoot out.

[8D]Thats because the 986 was so bloody good from day one straight out the original box the 987 can only advance so far from perfect in the first place :ROFLMAO: Now 996 was a fabulous piece of kit but obviously as proven by 997 there was loads of room to improve and fine tune some more and no doubt 998 will eventually do the same to the all new 997 [;)]
