Boxster S Project III - Driven

Showtime

New member
For the many of you who have followed the rebuilding of my car, the work is now completed and bar a few minor issues, It's done.
Drove the car for the first time properly yesterday, and all I can say is WOW.. Woo Hoo... I can see what all the fuss is about. My 9 yr old and I simply could not stop ... what a car
Like many people I did not have a big budget, but I wasn't going to let that stop me. A bit of time , effort and logic made each job pretty straightforward.
Enjoy the pictures, it was worth every bit of effort

Congrats!!! Now before you 'tinker' some more and whilst the weather is good get out there and drive!!!

btw: I believe your car may have a plastic screen in the roof so get used to the 'Boxster Chop', especially on cool days unless you want to replace the screen.

I note you have part of the 'windstop' (the small plastic panel between the roll cage) but are missing the grills in the hoops. Have you got them ? If not and you need some they are always on 'Fleebay'.

Anyhow enjoy your hard work :)

I really admire you for doing this - congratulations! Working hard to make a project work means the drive feels even better! Enjoy the summer[:)]

Hi bmurphy, thanks for the compliment, if you search on my previous threads, there are a load of before and after pics..

Spyderman... [:D] [:D].. very good, still chuckling.. I needed some after the first go..to calm the heart rate a little

I have followed your threads and take my hat off to you!

You must be a very proud man indeed. Congratulations and well done.
