Boxster S Project underway - PICS NOW UP

Showtime

New member
Hello all, For your curiosity only , I recently purchased my Boxster S (which was a crash damaged) and have commenced the work to get it back roadworthy. I've uploaded the first few pictures so you can see whats gone on. The car was in outstanding condition prior to the accident and was too good to break. I was lucky that the damage was only to the panels and no suspension/chassis or shell damage occurred. Car has covered just 38000 miles with a Full Porsche Service History

I have sourced a load of replacement panels and installed new Rads brackets plastics etc, and the car is now at the bodyshop. With any luck it will be back and ready to go in time for the Register Meet in April (Am I allowed to bring it ??)

Costs so far ...£5K for the Car, £870 for parts (love ebay !!) and a Friend in the bodyshop next to the Garage my wife works in will see the car done for about £7K all in..Bargain I think. ( and no I have no illusions it'll sell for double that a la' wheeler dealers [:D] ).

Since these pics, Wing has been replaced along with A/C Rad and Normal Rad and intake ducting

I'll post more pics when it comes back from the bodyshop and work continues
Wish me luck

Thanks Richard for the 'How To' and of course any comments/hints/damning criticism [;)] welcome from avid viewers
