Boxster S Rear Badge

Hello, I had the mis-fortune of my local car cleaner snapping the edge of the B on my rear badge when drying the car with their chamois. I have seen a variety of colours out there and wanted to know if they are genuine Porsche badges?

On the 986 (facelift at least) I think the Boxster came with black badge and the S came with the Grey one, or was it down to body colour? Well, my Basalt Black S came with a grey one.

I have seen chromo and also red and I quite fancy a Grey "Boxster" with a Red "S", can I get this from the OPC or will I have to look on ebay?

Standard Boxster came with a black logo badge,

The S comes with a "titanium" coloured one (to match the other titanium items - rad grilles on the pre-facelift model, windscreen surround)

The 550 Special edition came with the Chrome logo.

Any other colour is aftermarket - but red on black would look cool [;)]

Thanks Mark,
Guess my Grey is Titanium... so what colour is real titanium then? [:)]

Edited to add: wow, I just read this on the net; the rear badge is actually made of Titanium and is not just titanium colour...
