Boxster seats for a 944

I'm looking to upgrade the seats in my 1984 944 Auto ... am I correct in thinking that the front seats from a 2001 Boxster will fit? David
 
All owned Richard ... and I have a not completed kit car I am working on based on a 225 bhp BMW 2.5 motorsport engine ... all in half a ton of car! Now that will be fun :)) David
 
Wont fit in the way that I believe that you mean, but can be made to fit with a small amount of work. Theyre rubbish compared to sports seats, although their lowly price does reflect this. From memory youll need to remove the 986 seats' runners and use the original 924/944 runners with them.

As Simon says, it is debatable that they are upgrades to original Sports Seats. You might be better off spending your cash on refurbishing your existing seats.
