Hi - wondered if anyone has used Tony at Wrightune for Porsche servicing of Boxsters - he also fits up the OPC and Cruise stalk for 986 models, which I would like to have being an old boy, they are handy.
Thanks

Hey John
I know Tony from his years at G-Force and he is a good mechanic.
He used to race-prepare my friend's (John) cars.
Cheers

After enclosed reply comment on the above I took the plunge and drove over from Essex with the plan of continuing the journey over to Hants to see some family, so we had 24k service, including plug change and brake fluid change, ok my car has only just done 10k and is just 4yrs old and due its service as per schedule and glad I did as I wanted to have a personal quick look at the car engine for the first time and take in the underneath and all is very well and Tony was helpful and did the work and offers good value excellent service and expertise, having looked after Porsches for many many years and continues to support a GT3 race car the Mot was also due and completed close by, having past the 111 check at Colchester in the summer I was pretty confident and I am now planning to go back to see Tony next spring for my birthday and get the OBC up and running and the Cruise & stalk fitted , which adds to my pleasaure as having had the cruise on my 944 turbo so on trips its good for rest and also helps keep the fuel bills down and speed cameras at bay as these cars go so well that its very easy to exceed limits without realising and having bought the car I don't want to give up for long time yet.

Just had the OBC upgrade on my 20003 'S' done by Tony at Wrightune, he did the job while I waited and with the toggle switch on the dash replacing a blanking switch I am delighted with the result. I made a fairly long trip to get this done, but was well worth it. Highly recommended.
