[FONT=arial"]Hi guys, Anyone help here?
I'm looking for someone who's red hot on servicing who can look after my Boxster in the West of Scotland, not a main dealer thank you!!
Also, I'm plagued with a rattle from the front and one somewhere at the rear. Any ideas???
Thanks, Caroline.

Thanks for that William. I bought the car from Scottish Motor Services who, if I live to be 100, I will never go near again...warn others! I need someone who knows their stuff and will actually look after my car at a reasonable cost. Is your guy good?
Thanks, Caroline.

Another vote for Motortune, Peter McAnna is excellent, if a trifle too busy sometimes.

Yet another vote for Motortune.

William has mistyped the contact number - area code is 01501.

As you are aware the club is trying to cement a relationship with the OPC and if you are a club member it may be worth a call to see if a deal can be struck .Motortune has a good reputation and offers a good service there are a few others that do good work for older cars Brian Miller 0131 443 7806 Geo Morrison 0141 643 1768 RPM sorry no number

Thanks for all the contacts. The car is a 2001, 60k miles. Glasgow area would suit me better but I'll go to where the good guy is......got to go by your recommendations!!
Caroline.

Brian,
I think if your car is still within the warranty period then using an OPC would be the way to go, but you just have to look at labour rates to know that an OPC would have to discount by over 60% to get close Motortunes rates

I agree with you there,but one can always ask,I am not takeing anything away from the independents they will never want for work,but in the past I have heard that some people come away with a bigger bill from an indy than they would have paid at an OPC
