I am having problems sourcing 17" tyres for my Boxster (both ends) as they seem to be out of stock everywhere I try.

Does anyone know anywhere near Cwmbran/Newport who might be able to get them?

Hi there. Have you tried Windway tyres at North Clive Street, Cardiff, CF11 6NR (02920396162)? Ask for Lee - he used to work at Merlin Porsche back in the olden days.
All the best!

Adrian.

Just priced a pair of rears 255/40/ZR17 P-ZEROs N3 for my boxster, going on this thursday for 135 inc vat balance and fitting each... quite reasonable I think.

Last year I put a set or rears on the 996... Conti's at a cost of about 189 each.

Nevertheless, there are some places with them in stock... this is in Caerphilly.

I've never used this company before but have heard that they take care of your wheels...

Westyres - Western Ind Est. Caerphilly. I think I spoke to a chap called Viv.

Thanks for all your help. I am having a set of P-Zero Rosso fitted today at Windway tyres.

You were right about Lee, he certainly knows his tyres. He recommended the rosso's because they were introduced to address the noisy P-Zero's. I currently have Contis fitted and Lee suggested that I might think the wheel bearings were shot if I ran the P-Zero (not rosso) tyres!
