Hi all, I was wondering if anyone in the area has a set of Boxster Wheels for sale, the ones I have on are Ive been told from a 993 with spacers but I want the same style but genuine Boxster Wheels?

I do not have any but size of wheel you are looking for would be a help, also is it a 986 or 987.
Try e bay

What style and size are the ones you have?

There have been several "standard" wheels, and many different "option" styles for the Boxster, in sizes from 17" to 19"

My car is a 98 and the present wheels are 18" and look good on the car so would like the same size iff possible.

Thought I'd chip in and let you know I have a pair of Pirelli 265/35/18 tyres almost new if you need them when you get new wheels

Can't find a website for CLCM, but here is a reference http://www.edinburghonline.co.uk/info/2760/

On reflection I'm tempted to think that your tyre wear problem may be simply cos the tyres are too big for the car, but getting a proper alignment will still be money well spent.

As for looking for new wheels, there is always a healthy trade in used Porsche wheels on ebay, I should know I've bought and sold more than a few! If you need to transport wheels, I can recommend these folk https://www.paisleyfreight.com/ (no connection, just a satisfied customer)

Many thanks for all of your replies they are very helpful.
I shall contact CLCM and also check out ebay and Mike thanks for your offer, I shall be in touch if I need that size.
BTW, I have seen pictures of Porsche wheels and my present wheels look like 996 turbo 2's.

I have a set of 17" original Boxster wheels that are the correct size for a 98 Boxster. I am in Bearsden if that is local to you. Let me know if these are of interest.

Im watching a set at the moment but would be interested to see what style yours are if you can send me a pic that would be great, thanks.

Hi Mike,
I have purchased a set of Boxster Wheels which I should get this week of which I intend to use my existing front tyres PS2 N3's which are 225x40x18 but will require for the rears 2x matching 265x35x18 N rated tyres so I was wondering what your tyre details are incl price etc., thanks.

Many thanks for your assistance and recommendations John, I have bought an (identical style to my existing set) set of Boxster wheels utilising Paisley freight to deliver them and what an excuse to visit Edinburgh to see CLCM.
