Boxsters on the Peaks.

Hey - 'deja-vu'. We've been here before with a Peaks run-out. [&:]
OK Helen - what's the route so the NW'ters can intersect?

THE DAYS SUGGESTED ROUTE. SUNDAY 11th JAN 2004

meet 10.30am at the Mill House Inn,Millford on the A6.
travel up the A6 Turn Left onto B5.35 to Wirksworth then on to Middleton.
Turn left onto A5015.
at end turn right onto A515.
Take 2nd left.
At T-junction turn right.
carry straight on to Earl Strendale.
accross the B5053
follow road to the end.
turn left onto A53
take next right turn.
at end turn left onto A537 towards Macclesfield.
STOP at the Cat and the fiddle inn (on you right)
Meet 11.30amfor a coffee/drink.
Turn left out of pub onto A54
keep left towards Buxton.
straight over first roundabout
left at 2nd roundabout onto A6(north)
turn right onto A623(towards Chesterfield)
at Sparrowpit,take 2nd left (where main road swings to the right)to Castleton.
at Hope turn Left to Edale and Barber Booth.
at t-junction turn right to Slackhall,wash and Chapel Milton.
At end turn right onto the A624 to Glossop.
at traffic lights turn right onto A57(Snake Pass)
stop at Snake Pass inn for lunch.


I wish to point out that i don't know these roads so have worked this route out using maps. Hopefully all will be ok. but it might be an idea to bring you map books with you in case we get lost[:eek:]

This might also bump this up to the top! I have posted meet event on NW forum. You never know the NW Boxster contingency might come out - however might just be the die hard 911 drivers (and 968 Stu!)
