Please see below for a request for Boxsters (986) to be in a special display for the launch of the New Boxster.
As we are the region closest to support this, it's a great opportunity for your prized car to be shown at it's best... please contact Tracy ASAP if you think you can help.

I have had a request from Mac & Sue (Display register) to supply 4 Boxsters for the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone. This is to accompany the launch of the new 981 Boxster.
Porsche are looking for Gen1, 986 Boxsters from year 1996-2004 and preferably a good variation. ie: 2.5,2.7.3.2 .All cars must be RHD with no modifications(as it left the factory) and in good condition.
The chosen cars are needed from 12th/13thApril - 30th/31st April so therefore would suit members who do not regularly use their car. The cars will be collected and returned via trailer so no extra mileage will be incurred. For this reason cars withinin a 60 mile radius to Porsche Silverstone would be preferred.
Unfortunately a replacement car cannot be provided but as a token of thanks Porsche are proposing that the owners will receive a Porsche Driving Experience day.
If you are interested in this and think that you may be able to help please contact me for more details.

Thanks Paul for advertising this.

On speaking to the Porsche marketing people this morning they have now requested that they only need cars with the plastic rear screen. Pre 2003 facelift.
If you have one of these in your garage and would like to show it at the 981 preview launch as set out above please let me know.
Thanks again
