Boxter GTS with 330BHP announced Worldwide today ..... 0-62 in 4.7secs

Porsche's GTS models draw their inspiration from the company's motorsports heritage. With increased power, unique specification and a particularly sporty character, GTS models embody the distilled essence of Porsche.

The Boxster GTS boasts an uprated 3.4-litre flat-six engine with direct fuel injection (DFI) and VarioCam Plus delivering 330 hp, 15 hp more than that of the Boxster S. With the standard six-speed manual gearbox the Boxster GTS accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5.0 seconds and achieves a top speed of 175 mph. Add the optional Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission and, thanks to a Launch Control function from the standard Sport Chrono package, this time drops to just 4.7 seconds.

Externally, the GTS stands out from other Boxster models thanks to specific design touches including prominent new air intakes which exude pure sportiness. The stretched silhouette is sleek and the restyled rear apron makes the new model appear even more purposeful. Smoked LED taillights lend expressive accents, with the Boxster GTS logo in black adding a name to this intensely sporty design.

The Boxster GTS pricing starts from £52,879 (including VAT at 20%).

An order can be made by placing a £3,000 deposit with your Porsche Centre. Included in the price is a half day driving experience at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone and a three year warranty.

We placed our 981 S order about 2 weeks ago and are now negotiating changing the order to a GTS one .. spec looks great .. would love the black interior with red stiching WITHOUT the red dial .. however can live with the pure black alcatera / leather interior

Yes, agree with you, that red tachometer dial does look a bit garish.

But do hope that they don't make any fuss about changing your order. Please post to inform us all how that goes.
