Boxter hood

Just bought a boxter with a cracked plastic screen. Guy had replaced it once so going to replace hood as it's worn and have glass window. Has anyone tried fitting the bar one themselves.
 
I've got the BAS one - totally happy with it. Although I did have it fitted by BAS themselves

Having watched BAS fit it I would think it perfectly reasonable to fit yourself, they do sell it for self-fitting if I recall. There are little things they are bound to have discovered that make it easy for themselves though, that probably wouldn't be passed on to the end user. There always are...
It took BAS about an hour and a half to fit, they advise it'll take them a day.
