Hi People,
I have just joined the club after owning my Gen 2 Boxter S for 18 months.
I had a new AOS fitted when I bought it as it ran unevenly and that improved things but it still runs unevenly on tickover which you can actually feel through the seat of your pants. Also occasionly when I accelerate hard from about 2000 revs the engine doesn't respond at all and I have to back off and press the accelerator again for it to respond. Any ideas please?
The local Porsche specialist garage says there is nothing coming up on the computer to suggest a fault!

I have had the car analysed today as suggested and the only thing the technician came up with is these readings which should go up and down but weren't varying much at all. Apparently they relate to sensors related to the catalytic converter and he said that he thinks they could be at fault. I can't load the photo so I am representing the screen on the analyser below:
Oxygen sensor B1 - S2 Voltage 0.410
Oxygen sensor B2 - S2 Voltage 0.415
Any thoughts anyone?
