Boxter spoiler sticking

All, first post here, spoiler is sticking on my boxter, is there a common problem around this? and is it something that i can manually reset as i pushed gently and nothing happened but another trip on the motorway and it was down when i got home

Blimey 2 spoiler issues in the same week!

The fact that it's gone down now might suggest that there isn't an issue. I would recommend NOT trying to manually push it down but turn on the ignition and use the overide button. (986 in drivers footwell / 987 on centre console).

Try manually (with the button) raising it then lowering it a couple of times to see if it seems to work.

If you find you've parked the car after moving it and the spoiler is still up, on a 986 it usually means that you've accidentally hit the overide button with your foot.

Hi does the spoiler return to the closed position if you operate the manual switch?

I had the same problem with my 987 about 6 months after I bought it (from new)

It was under warranty at the time to I took it into Porsche Centre Reading.

They had a look- couldn't find anything wrong
They swapped in a different spoiler- didn't work
They returned the original spoiler- and it started working again.

They didn't know what was wrong either.

Maybe its upset because you've missed an S !
