BOXTER VALUATION AND ADVICE PLEASE

excellent.....!

hi everyone.........I wont bore you all here as I want to check where I can get some advice on valuing/selling my boxter privately....normally I PX cars but this time
I bought a cheaper (boring non porsche) replacement so selling privately is only option....

Is this the right area for asking advice or there a better more generic thread ?

cheers
Neil

hi Neil,

you could ask on here, but you may get a better responce and more acurate guide to pricing by going onto www.boxa.net , its a specialist boxster forum.

what year, engine size and gearbox is yours??? ill be able to give you a rough idea.

Hi mike

many thanks for that....I will have a look today !

meanwhile the car is :-

all black 2.7 standard Boxter
1st registered 1/9/03
2 owners (incl me)
just under 18,000 miles (my main reason for some more expert advice)
Bose & 6cd system
simple black classic leather interior as new with some steel touches to gearstick/handbrake
Porsche turbo wheels with coloured livery insets
rear tyres fitted in last 9 months/ Fronts in last 2 months - yokohamas
Bought by me from Midsussex Porsche and FPSH there since new ( next service sept 10)
new 12m mot jan

V Good condition.......its now a 4-5 days a week pratical used car (stil garaged though) but its not concours
or stored away at all (as it was by first owner for 4 years !)

wont bore you all with photos ...practicality is needed for other things and I cannot fund 2 cars sadly at his moment.....picking up the BMW estate car next week (grumble grumble !)

I am very green at private sales of cars (ususally px) so wanted advice and ideas on valuations plus recommended marketing channels.....I will store it till april time as told that pricing will be more favourable roling into summer (summer ??!!)

many thanks for any comments - appreciated !

Neil

why i'm here I must say that the boxter has been a wonderful experience.....I didnt want anything to raunchy in the range and it has been a great chance to relax for a couple of years in a practical, reliable and economical open top porsche !
