There are quite few unmarked cars in the southwest area
Red octavia
White focus estate
Silver bmw estate

Up in Scotland they mostly play very fair.
Today on A9, 70 dual carriageway. Cars coming other way are flashing lights, permanent camera sign, huge flashing camera sign i've not seen before so probably only on when the van is ahead, come round a bend and you can see the huge white van with yellow and red strips clearly in distance.....and still a guy in a Clio hammers passed me at around 90 until a few yards from the van when he slams the anchors on....

PS Andrew -hope they did not get you. I was stopped by an unmarked BMW up here in Scotland back in the spring, while driving the 993, after a lot of chat about my driving standards they let me off. But an unmarked Volvo in the midlands just picked on my Rav4 out of 10s of cars they could have selected at same time and gave me some points for speeding. They weren't interested in a chat, just wanted the forms filled and back on the road to get another one.
I feel your pain mark [:'(] I got stopped in the Range Rover a couple of months back on the hornby road going up to devils bridge (kirby lonsdale). The officer told they'd lots of complaints about bikes doing 3 figure speeds on that road so they were 'clamping down'. My menace to society crime was 46 in a 40 (and if anyone knows this road its in the middle of nowhere) 3 points £60 [
]The irony of about 25 to 30 bikes passing whilst i was having the 'talk' was not entirely lost on me.
When he'd finished I asked him if he was stationed there all day and he confirmed that he was.... I told him that I hoped it rained ...heavily ! [

No wasn't done - he'd got some other poor unfortunate soul. My reason for posting wasn't the unmarked car ( of which there are many ) but the fact that it was dirty and had obviously been left that way - it's the first time I've seen that.
