This is the information I received....
The Bradford Classic 2012 will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August.
It is the seventh year, the Bradford Classic 2012 will make use of the stunning new six-acre City Park (http://www.cityparkbradford.co.uk/) to display more than 300 classic vehicles over the two days. City Park is Bradford's new public space designed to create a place for rest, relaxation and play. The tree-lined park includes the UK's largest urban water feature, a 4,000 sq m mirror pool containing more than 100 fountains include one that reaches 100ft.
This year there will be a Grand Prix theme running through the event and we'll be looking for old grand prix cars to display. Suggestions/contacts to assist with this would be appreciated.
I'm delighted to say that Jaguar Heritage has just confirmed their attendance, so we can look forward to some star cars from their collection at Browns Lane. Last year their pristine XJ220 was the undoubted star of the show.
As always, entry for the public and exhibiting of vehicles is free and prizes are awarded for best vehicles. If you wish to enter a vehicle, but are uncertain if you can make a definite commitment, then please contact me.
We plan to hold a continental market in the city centre over the Bradford Classic weekend and we are looking at live music and other activities to enhance this great event. For the first time, we are looking to set up a display of classic motorcycles on the Sunday and are looking for interest from private owners and clubs.
