Braided fuel lines

Hi everyone, replacing my fuel lines (40 years old) and went for braided hoses , for longevity and easy fit . Having problems with sourcing brackets/clips to attach to underneath car. Anyone bought these hoses(uk) , and have experience of fitting to underside . Thanks D.A.

The clips for the original hard lines were cheap enough and available from Porsche a couple of years ago when I purchased them. Check with Porsche, that is if your braided lines will fit into the OEM clips. If not you'll need to come up with a solution.

Thanks for reply Stuart , I have a set of new Porsche clips , unfortunately they are much smaller than the braided hoses 1/2” (13mm) o/d . I have a set that I bought from the supplier of the hoses . Was hoping someone on here had fitted new hoses . Might have to refer back to original solid pipes !!!

Thought about that one Clive . Problem is 2 fuel lines ( supply and return ) with only one self tapping screw on underside of car . Would require a double cable tie bracket which doesn’t seem to exist !

Not sure I quite understand the problem. Along with the solutions below there are also adhesive backed anchors available.

Regards,

Clive
