Brake bleeding

I'm looking to replace the brake fluid on my 997 with PSM and I'm confused as to the best way to do this.
I did intend to use a pressure kit but have read so much about the PSM I'm not sure whether this is the correct method.
Any help would be appreciated.

Bled the brakes on my 997.1 4S with the Gunson kit rigged up to a spare wheel for pressure. No issues at all.

Irrespective of the electronic wizardry, the brake system is like any other and works on hydraulic fluid. You really just need yourself and an assistant to push the pedal (I have trained my better half over a period of many years and she's bleedin' great! [8|]). Start with the longest line, finish with the shortest and don't let the master cylinder reservoir run low (obviously).

However, my advice, if you are uncertain, is to let an expert do it for you. The cost will be minimal compared to running out of brakes the next time you're "on it"! [:(]

Thanks for your reply.
I'm not worried about bleeding the brakes it's the implications of the PSM and that I have read that you need to have a pressure of 2bar to enable you to bleed the system.

You will have in excess of 2 bar when Ma'am's pushing down on the pedal (lend her your boots, if necessary!) [:D]

Clive.
