Cheers sulzeruk thought so so, as there the other way around its still clockwise from the inside of the wheel arch as such.ORIGINAL: sulzeruk
Anti clockwise, just normal bolts!
Alasdair
Tried everything today might just have to strip the hub down and cut and drill them out.
Also try to hit the bolt and its mounting with a hammer as the shock will often loosen them.

Looking at that I too would throw most of that away. New struts and 2nd hand hub carriers for a lux would be cheap.

These bolts are held on with loctite and so need heat to get them off. you also need leverage that a spanner will not give.

Or do what I did last week, soak in wd40 repeatedly, pull spanner with a piece of pipe on the end, bolt yeilds punch self in eye and nearly smash teeth with bit of pipe.
rotfl so many times have I done this! So many bleeding lips and cut knuckles against the wheel arch when the thing finally budges!! Then your still left with that moment... did it round the head or is it really loose... phew.

Just surface.
Porsche use high quality steel in their components, you would be surprised how well those parts would clean up with a wire brush on grinder and a bit of zinc primer and chassis black. Well it worked for the struts on my S2. And no guarantee the cosmetics of the 2nd hand replacements would be much better.
