Cost me the best part of £600 and upgraded the paint for a longer lasting finish.
I told them it was for a race car and wanted a full refurb and wanted to ensure the quality was up to scratch (It was something I could do myself but wanted to save some time and concentrate on other areas of the car during the off season). They assured me the quality of both paint and servicing, parts etc would be ideal for my requirements.
Although they claimed to have shot blasted them to remove all the corrosion, they didn't remove any corrosion around the pistons, lift plates or mating faces, only the outer casing, purely for aesthetics. This meant the spring plates were not a flush fit and so on refitting found that the pads would stick badly. I then had to scrape a load of the paint away in order to smooth away the corrosion (which could have been shot blasted off if they'd bothered to do it correctly) and refit the lift plates. They also managed to snap a spring plate when attempting to refit, they claimed it was down to the spring plate being old but it was clear when trying to fit a new lift plate it was due to the corrosion.
Worse still at least 4 or 5 of the pistons seals didn't fit correctly, again due to the corrosion that wasn't removed. One of the seals eventually tore due to having to remove and refit one of the lift plates after flattening off the corrosion.
I was really disappointed with what I ended up with. Wasted a weekend correcting their mistakes and ruined a set of racing pads too.
The company is basically a bodyshop that try to offer a one stop caliper service but even the paint wasn't great. The seal kit is cheap and the turnaround was quite long too. I think I waited the best part of a month despite being told one to two weeks.
Save yourself the hassle and either do it yourself or take it to a real specialist, even if it costs a bit more.
Here's pic, this wasn't the worst one either but it shows some of what I had to do to get the lift plates to fit.

I have done a few now, it's not hard and the results can be amazing with a bit of effort

i dropped the car off with them at Long Eaton, so had the full strip, paint and refit service.
i had the calipers blasted, painted red, Porsche lettering etched and lacquered, I even had the hubs done black, they did a fantastic job for me, even sent me pics as they went along. I was really impressed and I would definitely use them again.
I'm really fussy about my cars and the service I get and really can't fault them, my 993 will be going there next year.
I hope this helps.
Regards Chris
