Is it possible to obtain repair kits for the calipers on 924S and early 944's ?
If so where ? There are such kits for the straight 924's that can be got from
GSF but nothing similar for the aforementioned vehicles.
Regards.

At this very moment at PC reading there is a complete set of seals for front and rear calipers for my 924 turbo waiting for other part of the order to arrive so try there. The prices are not unreasonable. They are the same as 924s, 924 cgt, early 944 at least, and probably 944S up to 1988. Also maybe early 928,(not S2 and S4) if I have interpreted PET correctly.

Im not sure about the 928, but theyre the same as the calipers used on the original 911 Turbo, the 2.7 and the 3.0SC too, as well as all 8v cars (apart from the the 951). Refurb kits cost about £7-odd from ECP, plus VAT, as well as your OPC.

Simon.

Thanks guys for the advice.
The repair kits for both back & front calipers are now on order from my
nearest OPC. Why didn't I think of that. I believe that one assumes, sometimes
wrongly, that OPC prices are prohibitive.
Regards

Cool. How much for the fronts from your OPC? Ive bought new ATE calipers for my 944 and Im going to put the downgrades onto my 924S; and Id like to freshen them up if I can.

944 man
I haven't yet taken delivery on said items along with associated invoice details so may
not be 100% accurate on prices but if memory serves me correctly the fronts were £7.50 EACH and the rears were £13.40 EACH. All plus VAT. Total approx £48.50.
Sorry for delay in relaying info but have been away.
Regards
