The former are standard and will fit either side, the later are handed and can only be bought as L or R.
Anyhow, a quick recce would indicate that the standard early non-handed discs are ~ £98 each from GSF. Also just been on Eurocarparts - standard discs for a pair with their Marchmad code = £132.58. Handed discs (sebro as well) = £146.
So, best thing to do, get yourself on the ECP AND GSF mailing list - most Fridays they send out an email shot advertising "41% of all car parts, March Madness.... etc" Even if there isn't a generic parts deal both sites will often do specials on service items which includes brake discs.
If you could get one of those deals you'd get a pair of discs for £115 job a good un !
As the end of the financial year (April) is looming you can bet you bottom dollar that there will be numerous deals and offers to tempt punters into spending money, hang in there and get a bargain !

I experienced exactly this after having new disks fitted on the front on my 993. I think they may have come from ECP but not sure as they were professionally fitted for me locally.
I posted the problem on several forums and the consensus was that the front suspension bushes - a common fault, apparently on the 993 - were shot. Not totally certain this was the problem and that, perhaps, the disks were distorted I spoke to and then went to Marcus Bailey in Soham. He skimmed the fronts and cured the problem. Brakes are great now.
