Any advice on frequency of fluid changes other than the party line 2 years?
I have to change discs so often, I plan just to have it done then.
Advice/experience/thoughts appreciated.

If you care about your service book log then it has a stamp slot for every two years change. The fluid is "hygroscopic," which means it tends to absorb moisture over time...

I have been religious about changing my brake fluid every two years ever since I had a 993 that had an ABS pump fail due to not having the fluid changed for 3 and a bit years. The 996 and Boxster use the same kind of pump <gulp!>

Thanks for the advice - have decided to have it changed anyway.
Its 2.5 years since the last change and 6000 miles, so dont think should be an issue.
