Brake fluid change

Any tips for a brake fluid change? They're a bit spongy and it's not been done for alot of years.
Can the right bits be reached with the car on the deck or on axle stands? Does it need to be level.
I intend to use an 'ezi-bleed' and start from the furthest wheel.

TIA.
Darren.

I've only done this with a Brembo equipped S2 or Turbo but it will be the same for your 2.7

The car does not need to be level but the wheels will have to come off to get to the bleed nipples (two per calliper on Brembo - I think you have one). Just keep an eye on the Eezi-bleed reservoir as its easy to get carried away on the first calliper and drain the bottle [:D]

ATE blue fluid is very easy to do because you can see the colour change as the new fluid comes through. Make sure the spare tyre powering the Eezi-bleed is not set to more than 20psi or you can blow all sorts of seals []

I am surprised that >20psi causes problems, i would have thought that you would be able to creat much more pressure under normal braking let alone heavy braking.

When bleeding brakes work from the furthest away caliper to the closest to the resevoir.

ATE super blue is very good stuff, alternate with ATE gold (same fluid different colour) and it makes for easy changing as Paul has said. Its pretty cheap too, Eurocarparts do it for just over £10 a litre. And its prbably the best value hi perfomance fluid with excellent dry and wet b.p. figures.
