Brake fluid leak.

Has anyone had a leak from the brake servo pump (if that's a fair discription) housed behind the moulding at the front right hand side of the luggage compartment, directly above the battery, looking from the front of the car.
I have had this leak for sometime and to be honest it's so small it's been difficult to pin point.
It's now getting worse and is leaving fluid on the top of the battery.
It doesn't appear to be a show stopper, however needs attending to.
Can this unit be serviced or is it a replacement job. I'm reluctant to strip this out until I can get some positive information, therefore can anyone help, please.[8|]

Have a look to see if it's coming from the brake bias valve which is a small cylinder on the left as you look from the front of the car. These cost about £50 and are easy to replace (but you'll need a good bleeding session afterwards).

Sorry, forgot to report that the leak was traced to the "flexible pipe" on the brake boost pump. This pipe comes out of the top of the pump at an angle, and is a push fit with an "O" ring fitted and a "R" clip holding it in place. This has now been replaced £60.00 for the pipe and 1/2 hour fitting time.
A point to bear in mind should anyone have a similar problem, servo assistance will be lost until the pump clicks back in. Just be careful when road testing. In my case it took a good ten minutes of running before it did.
