Brake fluid reservoir - missing cap

I was giving the car a once over before the MOT at the weekend and noticed the brake fluid reservoir cap looked a bit weird. Basically the screw cap is still there, but the clipped in cap (about 20mm dia) in the top that keeps the level sensor submerged has gone. Anyone got a spare one or an old knackered resovoir I can salvage. I don't really want to have to but a whole new reservoir just for a plastic insert.
