Brake Fluid warning light

They've possibly not taken enough (or any) fluid out of the reservoir to get it down to the maximum mark when fitting the new discs and pads. This can result in the fluid escaping out of the vents in the cap and shorting the connections and thus illuminating the warning light.
If it is this you will have to strip out the carpets, etc to ensure all the brake fluid is removed and areas affected washed well.
When this happened to me I was lucky that no fluid had got further than the cap but I still washed everything down incessantly until I was confident that there was no possibility of any fluid lingering within the luggage compartment.

How can professionals be so utterly useless, over and over again ?
I have changed the brake fluid, discs, pads and brake pipes on my 993, and I was so so careful at all times.
If they were a doctor, they'd be struck off. It is life and death, but they get away with it every time.
If we weren't so nice on here we'd name and shame. I know I would.

Finally got 993 back to OPC. Turns out there was a small leak caused by some 'dirt' in the join between pipe and caliper. They were full of apologies, cleaned it up, no damage and am relieved they found the fault and it was an easy fix. No hard feelings as they took it seriously and took the necessary action. Thanks for the help Clyde and Porker 993. Much appreciated as always.
That's awful. Suppose the brake warning light hadn't worked ? Suppose the leak had been faster ?
