Brake Fluid

Good afternoon all and a happy 2013 to you.

I soon to replace the brake fluid on my 99 (T) C2 (I am getting my repainted calipers back).

Reading DOT 4 is the preferred fluid, I was wondering if anyone has got advise/experience on whether a specfic make is better than another. Plus this business of gold vs blue?

Plus can you advise how much I should need to replenish a cleared system? 1 litre 2 litres etc...

Thanks

ATE Super Blue is DOT 4 with a higher boiling point. It is expensive. I use standard Pagid DOT 4 as I don't track my car and it more than does the job. You need about 1.3 litres to do the job properly. Always drain the container and refill it with fresh fluid before bleeding via the nipples starting the the outermost one first.
