Brake Judder on track days

Picking up on an older thread, I've done a lot of reading around the subject of brake judder. Never really convinced by warping discs or pad 'pick up' but, following a thread on a Subaru site I found some work on 'Frictionally Excited Thermoelastic Instability'. This phenomenon results in 'hot spots' developing at several points around the circumference of a disc when it is subjected to severe load. The inevitable differential expansion would fit in very nicely with the feeling I get through the steering and brake pedal. So, in an effort to eradicate the problem, I have obtained new OEM discs (I think some cheapskate has fitted Zimmermans in the past because the bells are rusty) but I would like opinions on the best compromise for road/track day pads. I don't mind more dust, but squeals are not welcome! Has anyone tried the new EBC Red Stuff pads?
I want to get everything ready in time for Oulton, which looks like a severe test of breaking! I will also watch out for trail braking which, I am sure, can be a problem for us occasional track-hounds.

I have seen pagid blue, yellow, orange and black, but not green. Not on their website or on Ninemeister.
Anybody got any views on Pagid Blue?

Very capable stopping power at huge speeds etc wear out a bit quicker than orange but both operate adequately to and from the circuit at 'normal temps. Currently favour yellow ,ceramic sometimes known as RS 19 but do clean up discs abit [guess will wear out discs quicker of course ]
You pays ur money etc ..........................
Road work wud never use anything other than standard Porsche kit.
All above on cars weighing abt 1200kgs............with power between 300 and 600 bhp

In the interest of finding out for myself and letting others know, I have bought new discs and EBC Redstuff Ceramic pads which will be fitted, bedded in and then put to the test at Oulton Park. Watch this space.

The answer to the problem is to fit new OEM discs. Perfect performance with standard pads. Watch out for pattern discs.
