brake light removal?

I am trying to remove the brake light that is just down from the rear window, I have take the 3 screws out but the left hand side can move up and down while the right is solid but still no way to get it off the car, I need that pannel of, not just the clip but the whole pannel across the brake light?

any ideaS?
 
I'm trying to find details in the 996 area, as its the same/similar...
Mine is a different location to what you are after, hopefully someone else may know the answer..
