brake lights flickering

Hello,
when I first bought the car, I drove it home to North Wales from Hampshire. Girlfriend in her car behind me. It was apparent that my brake lights were occasionally flickering.
Today I locked the car and the indicator was set to indicate right. this switched on the "Parking Light" On returning to the car some minutes later, both rear brake lights were flickering.
Has anyone else seen anything like this? My view is possible earth problems or maybe one of the circuit boards.

I've had the problem with the parking light lighting up the brake lights (and the brake lights lighting the indicator - usually just the front one) - but not flickering. Maybe the flickering is caused by one or more bulbs having been swapped for LEDs. Anyway I found my problem was caused by corrosion in one of the brake lamp holders. It needed a really good clean out.

I have fixed the problem, one of the bulbs was the problem with leaking voltage between the brake light and the rear light causing interference between the 2 rear lights. I have bought new bulbs and the lights are now working properly.
