Brake pad upgrades- your views

I do 3 or 4 track days and one trip to Germany pa. Wrt the former, last year I did find brake fade at the end of some of my sessions. I drive the nuts of the thing ('06 997 C4S) on track and I am a fussy barsteward with high expectations. Yes, there may be something for more moderate use of the brakes at trackdays but I am not overly interested in comments about the driving (braking) techniques, just getting a better performance than I do with standard kit.

Just wondered whether anyone had gone for a brake pad upgrade. If so, Pagid or someone else? Cost? Results? etc...

Thanks,

Derek

My advice for serious track day use is to upgrade front brakes to 6 pot calipers with 350mm discs, which is what most MK1 GT3 owners do. I have this modification to my C2S and I'm very happy with the improved performance. And at a fraction of the cost of those dubious ceramics. I can recommend a supplier with reasons if you email me (don't wish to advertise on this forum).
