brake pipes - help

Afternoon Guys,

I'm going to attempt to replace my brake pipes myself, and want to buy the correct kit online so I can give it a bash at the weekend.

as far as I can tell I need

Flaring tool
copper pipe
end connectors


Now don't worry, I'll be fine by then, I'll watch some tutorial videos etc beforehand so I'll know the score but I need to know if I've missed anything, and what type of flare and end connectors are required.

I can't look at whats on the porsche currently until the weekend

Which brake pipe are you replacing? If it is the one that hooks over the trans-axel the save yourself alot of bother and don't bother routing over the tranny. Just route under it. It will be perfectly fine and if your trans-axel needs dropping at any point in the future it will be no bother to replace that short run of pipe and route as originally intended with the tranny off.
 
unfortunately I have to replace all of them as the cars been sitting around for donkeys. thanks very much for the tip
