Brake problems again!

Went for a run in the cab today and the old brake judder seemed to be getting worse.Seemed fine first thing but after a run it was quite noticable.
When i got back i whipped the drivers side wheel off to get to the caliper. Now the outer pad was moveable in the caliper but the inner was stuck firm.
Took the caliper off, removed the inner pad to find one smaller (36mm?) seal was completely shot, the outer metal rim of the seal being in about 3 pieces part of which was fouling the pad at the edge.Luckily the piston looks fine.
Am i right in thinking that the inner seal (which was fine) seals the fluid in and keeps the air out and my perished outer seal just protects the piston or could it have caused air to get in the system?
Also a small wire coming out of the back of the connector fixed to the suspension strut (the brake pad sensors fit into it on one side) wasn't even tightened down at all - could this cause the ABS to play up and affect judder?Seems strange how the judder comes and goes.
Any thoughts much appreciated.

If its the abs you will hear the pump working (similar to the noise it makes when you first pull away). I would guess its more related to your sticking pad,
Tony

With ABS you would also feel a vibrating kick-back through the pedal, a bit like a drill on hammer-action.

The knackered outer 36mm piston dust boot? seems to fit into a recess on the actual caliper piston.I tried to order a replacement from design911 but was told that they come as a repair kit.Given the state of the boot i ordered it thinking i'll change the piston and inner seal as well (39.50 plus vat etc). This pic is the kit i've had today but it's not like the original as there's no recess on the piston for the dust boot.Is it likely to fit my caliper and will it be ok with the other 3 in the caliper as they're fine?

Does anyone know who sells just the dust boot for the caliper?
Checking the pet cd it lists this repair kit as being correct for the S2 and it mentions the boots in the fitting instructions but they're not in the kit.Has anyone fitted these without the dust boots?

Thanks for the info diver - the set i've bought though is in Brembo packaging and has the official Porsche part label affixed to it - part number 951 351 919 01 - so i thought it should have the boot with it as well as the piston, seal and small rubber seal.
Is the repair kit an upgrade on the original meaning the dust boot is no longer required or should the boot be fitted whenever a caliper is refurbed?

Would seem that it pays to look around!
Sent out a few emails enquiring about the caliper boot this morning - have ended up ordering one (36mm) from Porsche-apart for 7.50 plus vat/post! - apparently it definately contains the rubber boot and also the piston and seal.
