Just bought 2007 S needs pads all round might do odd trackday, whats best pads to get are standards ones up to job, where is best to buy pads, also I am interested in getting a bit more power any mods ecu upgrade that kind of thing ,not sure if I want to change exh as do not want to get to loud any advice welcome on both fronts most welcome

Lots of info on upgrading for track etc on Planet 9 an American Porsche Forum just google "Planet 9" such changes as upsizing on some of the inlet plumbing by fitting a different Plenum, ECU chipping Superchips or Autofarm, then on to exhausts etc. Most bolt on tuning seems to be in that order. Personally I'd stick with the std air filter rather than using an oiled type as it is large enough and any breathing restrictions aren't in the filter plus oiled filters can contaminate the MAF sensor. Std CS brakes are up to road use and occasional track days but some do go for harder pads but there is always a down side to that such as noise, increased wear...even poor low speed brakes. For track use I'd suggest the best thing to add rather than tuning would be an LSD about £1200 - £1500
