Brakes for a s2

Hi all,

I have someone who wants to buy the brakes i have which came from a 89 turbo.

The buyer wants to know if the calipers will fit using the adaptors and if the discs will fit the hubs.
He has a s2 with no abs and no 4 pot calipers. He also has the cup alloys which he was told will only fit on the later cars.
Is he going to have the same problem that i had with the discs?

All S2s had 4 pots. If that's an error and it's a proper S2 built for MY'89 or later then it should fit.

He said its a non turbo, later than 86, has no abs and hasn't got s2 4 pot calipers but is a s2? Also the drum part of the disc is about 56mm deep.

That was my error

Surely he means 56mm, 560mm is not far of 2 feet.

Is he confusing it with a 924 where there was sometimes considered to be a series 1 and a series 2? All S2 944 versions were basically the same spec and they all had the same 4-pots as your Turbo.

Ill have to email him again and find out.

But it seems that the discs may not fit. So they are up for sale again.
