brakes.

god, thought that stopping was not as good as i thought!
why did they not put 6 pots on, on my last car rb320, i took the brembo's off and put ap's on, it was a revelation the difference that these made, and they saved me twice from certain accidents because of there stopping power over the brembo's!
i take it it's the same with the ceramics over normal porsche brakes?

Ceramics are in a league of their own, but I find the standrd 4-pots fine. There aren't strongly servo-assisted, to give more feel, so you need a lot of pedal pressure, but if you step on them they are very effective.

can these be fitted over the disks already on the car, or do you have to replace disks as well,
and how much are these.

we tried to get a car with them on, but never managed to find one unfortunately,
i have been a bit light with the pedal since i have had the car, ap's were very aggressive when pressed firmly[:D]will have to stamp on them a bit harder.

(Edit: sorry, misread your post):

No. It's a full upgrade of discs and pads. Get in touch with JZM at Kings Langley. They did the ones on my car for the previous owner.

Ask for the GT2 6-pot front brake conversion. Discs are Alcon, pads are Pagid and the brake lines are replaced. Total price was £2300 ish + vat in 2006.
