Brakes

I have a rather strange noise coming from the brakes of my Boxster; it sounds like a very faint grinding which wears off after a short distance. It is worse when I have washed the car or if it has been raining and the discs are slightly 'rusting'.

Is this anything to worry about? The brakes seem to work very well when I apply them but that sound gives me cause for concern.

The car was given its' first annual service in February and passed without difficulties - nothing was drawn to my attention by the OPC.

Any ideas? Have I anything to worry about? If so, what should I do?
