Brakes....

Hi,

Had a service and 111 Point inspection carried out at OPC a few weeks ago, and they advised front brake discs/pads need replaced, although haven't had any warning appear...

There is a small lip on the front discs so was thinking of going down the Independant route to have them replaced...

I'm going to replace the rear brakes at the same time as well as have a brake fluid change, as I think it's best when having new discs etc. fitted...

I was thinking of using either George Morrison or RPM....

Does anyone have any experience of either...?

Also, should I use OEM Pads and discs or Brembo....

Thanks in anticipation....

Paul

It's a big piece of kit - had the same problem myself at about 50k. Wouldn't feel comfortable with anything other than oem parts for this aspect of ownership. I'm sure Brembo would be fine but takes it out of extended warranty, of course, which I presume you don't have.

Thanks for your input...

I am going for the OEM brakes, new discs & pads front & rear and a brake fluid change, dropped it off this morning at 7.30am, and will pick it up tonight....

I don't have an extended warranty....

Looking forward to a good pedal feel and increased stopping power....[;)]
