Brand New Cayman 1st Service coming up

I have a brand new Cayman which I picked up on 1st September 2014. I have my first service coming up. I will be in Spain next month with the Car and I have looked at the prices of both the UK and Spanish Porsche dealerships. There is about £200 difference to pay more in the UK.

My question is will it be an issue if I get the Car serviced in Spain rather than my local Porsche dealership for the remainig 1 year warranty left on the car?

regards

While there should be no problem getting servicing etc done at another dealer in Europe for your own peace of mind it would be best that you contact Porsche Reading, they are the concessionaires for Porsche Cars Great Britain.

You can contact them through the Porsche website selecting Great Britain from the list of countries, since your warranty and any extended Porsche Warranty covers your car across Europe I expect that they will say it will be ok to get your car serviced in Spain.

Alternatively, you could ask at your local OPC if they will price match as you will be in Spain with the car when the service is due.
