I'm off for a novice only day on the indy circuit this Friday. I've only ever done one other day and that was 12 years ago (shame on me, I know).

I had a service a few months back with no issues, have checked oil and tyre pressures. I have fire extinguisher at the ready plus tape for my lights, and a camera mount record my exploits; hopefully there will be no shots of the gravel traps. I have also booked a session of instruction during the day.

Any last words of advice from the experienced track dayers out there?

Have fun! You'll have to get the camera mount checked and sign a form to use the camera (at all MSV circuits) and post the results here!!!
 
Damn - have you seen the weather? Its going to be freezing on Friday! I'm supposed to be at Donington on Saturday and I cant help but look around the house for more layers of clothes to wear!!
