Breakdown Cover

Incept

New member
Hi all,

I'll be picking up my first Porsche (993 C2S) on Saturday and I was wondering if anybody had advice on the best recovery company to use. You think of the AA, RAC and Green Flag, but my concern is that the man in the yellow van turns up, takes one look and starts scratching his head!

Any help would be gratefully received.

Chris.

Hi Chris

First of all, congrats on getting the 993.

Check that you don't get breakdown cover with your bank account. My account with Lloyds TSB gives me a great service with the AA which includes Relay. There is a monthly charge for the account, but when you work out that you get AA cover, travel insurance and other goodies it seems to be worth it.

I think you've got to have relay, at least then if Mr.AA does start scratching his head he can take you to the nearest OPC!!

Cheers
