Breakfast meets

Mein Gott, what time will you have to get out of bed in Warrington to make breakfast at Goodwood? []

That's dedication Nick - I'm proud of you [:D]

Nick,

Easy to sort, infact I have been thinking about a sorting a lakes run soon, we could turn it into a Northern Frontrunner event, only earlier in the day!

The Goodwood meets are brilliant, not just the cars and atmos but also because of the empty A3 on an early sunday morning [8|][8|][8|]

The foods bl**dy expensive though (typically)

I wish we had the equivalent of the Ace Cafe classic meets 'ooop North' or the Goodwood breakfast meets.

Maybe we should hold an Oulton Park breakfast meet?

My nearest track is castle combe and there about to start doing breakfast meets on a sunday... should be good fun and i have to say i wouldnt mind a run to goodwood for a egg and bacon roll !!!.

We went on a run to Goodwood last year and it was an excellent day and we combined it with a run along the South coast. There was talk of doing it again this year and a weekend in early June was mentioned, though am not sure if this was ever confirmed as happening or remained at "a nice idea" stage.

This thread prompted me to do a search to see what was happening about the proposed fifties style diner come Shell garage in Newport Pagnell and am delighted to have read they've just got planning permission [:D] If it's anything like as good as promised this is going to be an amazing place and a perfect venue that's a little easier for most people to get to.

I'm still very much up for a Goodwood breakfast meet (assuming I ever get my car back[:)]).
