Breakfast near Bracknell/Wokingham

Now that the sunnier days are appearing, I was wondering whether anyone would be up for a breakfast meet at Ashridge Farm Cafe, perhaps on the next sunny Sunday morning, at 10am? Be nice to see a row of Porsche cars parked outside. The brekkie is brilliant - widely renowned - definitely worth the drive to the cafe from the surrounding area. One caveat - get there by 10am or be prepared to wait - the place can be very busy. We usually are sitting outside waiting for the doors to open every Sunday morning at around 09:55!

If you're up for it, how's about letting me know here and let's put a list together of potential attendees?

Details are:
The Farm Cafe
Ashridge Manor Garden Centre
Forest Road
Wokingham
Berkshire
RG40 5QY

Directions:
Located on the Forest Road - either follow the Twyford Road to Hurst, passing Cantley playing fields on the right, over the A329m and first right into Forest Road and immediately right. Or follow Warren House Road down to the The Warren pub and roundabout - turn left towards Hurst, follow the road almost to the end and turn left before the T junction into Ashridge Manor Garden Centre.

Any interest?

Cheers
Chris

WOW - that's at least 8 Porsches in the car park so far, with others who've said they will come along.

What about this coming Sunday 18th April? I hear the weather's going to be OK...

Any more for a great brekkie and some Pork ogling?

I'll be there.

Fits perfectly between picking the car up from the bodyshop and Brands Hatch trackday!

This is just getting better and better!

So I can pass an idea of numbers along, could you all confirm whether you're coming alone or bringing someone - wife, partner etc.?

Cheers
Chris

Will you be on your own or not, Jason? Have added you to the list above.

Gosh it feels like a loooong time since we've chatted! Must be years. Be great to catch up. We're thinking of coming to the next R19 meeting at the BIH too as we haven't been for so long.

Cheers

Hi Chris

Check the BTCC thread, there may not be many regulars at the BiH in May because John is planning a trip to Brands Hatch to see the BTCC and one of the Porsche championships.

Cheers

Have left ol' Dunksy a message too as haven't seen him for ages. Hope he and Kate can make it on Sunday.

Will check out the BTCC thread - ta.

Sorry I won't be able to make this weekend, but would be great if we could make this a regular thing! Everyone needs a fry-up at the weekend.....

Hope it works! The place is good. The meal is superb. The car park area lends itself to a nice row of Porche....

We go there almost every day for breakfast - I'm really happy to do this as often as possible! <chuckle>

Sorry Chris - can't make this Sunday as it's the TIPEC AGM so I'll be winging my way to Gaydon. Another time? I love a good breakfast, me...[:)]
