Hi All -

Its time to give the cars some exercise after the Xmas period.

The Midlands Breakfast Club ( www.midlandsbreakfastclub.co.uk) which is an open meet for people with sports, performance, classic cars etc. is having a meeting on 3 Feb. at the RAF Museum in Cosford, Shifnal, Telford, TF11 8UP ( www.rafmuseum.org.uk and click on Cosford) from 9am to arround 12 midday. The cafe at the museum will be open for breakfast until 12 noon.

I thought it would make a nice run out (weather permitting) and blow the cobwebs off the car ! The 997 Register will have some cars there and some other Regions will be attending.

The plan for the day is -

9.15am for 9.30am meet at Tibshelf services (South) just past J29 on the M1

Travel down to Shifnal via the A38 and A5 arriving around 10.45 to 11.00. Bacon bap , a cup of tea and a look around the cars and Museum (free entry)

Early afternoon return home via the back roads through Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

Everyone welcome - just turn up on the day.

Happy motoring - Randolph

Hi Randolph,
Yes sounds a good idea to go along for the day and join in. Will meet you at the service station, hope weather is not to bad.

It does look to be a great place but unfortunatly I am on a course that weekend and the following one []. Mind you, you could guarantee I would end up on the roof of the building anyway [:D]

Hi Randolph,
Mags and I will be unable to attend the run on this occasion, we are on holiday but will see you club night.

Looks like the weather is going to be complete xxxxx so I think we will give it a miss. Shame as last Sunday we had a nice run out to Pately Bridge, very pleasant.

Sorry Randolph, we're gonna have to give it a miss now too. The 911 went in for some work today and is not going to be ready due to a few complications.

See you at the meeting on Weds.

Thanks Randolph
It certainly blew the cobwebs off the car (and me). It was a great place for a car meet. See you at club night.

Many thanks Randolph for the run out to the mesuem. Give the car a good run out, did 242 miles and got 17.5miles to the gallon but did enjoy following Graham's GT3 down the country roads.
See you hopefully on Wednesday night.
