Given what you could buy an RS for a couple of years back... interesting that I've been offered the following this week (out of the blue..)

964 RS CS shell, brand new (apparently), Euro 28,000 + VAT
and
a brand new RS motor for Euro 18,000 + VAT

Anyone know if any of these bits are still available from Porsche? Because if those were really the going rates, the cars should be worth considerably more!

Rick

I doubt there are any RS CS shells available from Porsche!

What shell number is it Rick?

I'm still gutted I didn't buy an RSR rolling shell I was offered last year that was available at 12,000 euro...it was the next number to mine[&o][&o][&o]

Dillied.....Dallied......got outbid[&o]

12K ! Bargain.

It does sound a bargin doesnt it.

Rick, those prices are steep - Also, depending on storage, I wonder what condition they are in. Would you put a "new" engine straight in your car without opening it up? Toughone that isnt it.

The man in question is known to charge for the light brigade... but condition will be A1.

Can't imagine there are many brand new factory caged clubsport shells around... nor brand new RS engines... so I guess if you want it, you pay the price asked.

Out of interest, the Cup cars raced on Speedline split rims in the final year (s) right? Anyone any idea what sizes they were? Suprised we don't see more sets for sale, race teams must have had plenty...

Fronts same as 3.6 Turbo 8" and rears 9.5" rather than 10" on the turbo.

Since they are 3 piece you can swap rims to suit.
